News from Tenga Rinpoche (Mar. 27, 2012)

Venerable Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche left to Lumbini on the March 22 in order to consecrate the new monastery of Gyalpo Rinpoche which belongs to the Karma Kamtsang lineage followers. This monastery was newly finished in Lumbini and Rinpoche was invited in order to concecrate it. Nyenpa Rinpoche comes back to Kathmandu on March 28.
The present situation Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's health is not so good. It is about 10-20 percent worse. This means that Rinpoche does not make jokes about his health and also him making fun in between us does not occur anymore. Rinpoche's appetite also became less. Rinpoche's sleep is not so good and he has less energy.

News from Tenga Rinpoche (Mar. 19, 2012)

During the Kagyu Monlam in March 2012 those of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's students and followers from Holland, Germany, Poland, Denmark and Italy and so on who attended the Monlam requested His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa what best they could do for Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's health. His Holiness suggested they could do the Namgyalma practice 1000 times and that this would be very beneficial for Rinpoche's health.

News from Tenga Rinpoche (Feb. 24, 2012)

Losar, Februar 22
This year our monastery had a very nice and big Mahakala statue for blessing the audience of the lama dance which is about one story tall. The statue was constructed mainly under Lama Sherap's creative guidance with the help of our genius monks. They built a wonderful Mahakala statue according to Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's wishes.

News from Tenga Rinpoche (Feb. 11, 2012)

Since 13th December Rinpoche has been here in Kathmandu and is recovering very, very slowly. Rinpoche's condition is like this:

The amputations of the left foot and the finger have healed very, very well. Now Rinpoche's health problem is his heart valves, two valves do not open or close very well. As a consequence of this his lungs fill with water which makes it difficult to move and causes him to cough a lot. Rinpoche is also losing his appetite and he has lost a lot of weight and has become quite thin.

Latest News from Tenga Rinpoche (Dec. 12, 2011)

Dear Dharma Brothers and Sisters,

I am very happy to inform you that Tenga Rinpoche is recovering very well. Therefore, Rinpoche will be returning to Kathmandu tomorrow, 13th December 2011. Rinpoche will be taking a good rest upon his return to the monastery.
