Lama Yönten Palsang belongs to the first group of Lamas who completed their 3-year-retreat in the Benchen Retreat Center in Pharping.
Since Summer 2003 he is one of the Resident Lamas of Benchen Phuntsok Ling.
2006 he temporarily returned to Nepal to complete his studies at the Shedra in Pharping. 2010 Lama Yönten came back to Benchen Phuntsok Ling.
Since some year Lama Yönten is again back in Pharping and teaching the young monks in the Shedra.
