A letter from Tenga Rinpoche (Nov. 10, 2011)

Dear Dharma Friends,

I am now back at the Benchen Centre here in Singapore. It is the opinion of my doctors that I be discharged from hospital today as they are satisfied with my rate of recovery.  However, I will have to return to the hospital over the next few days for routine follow-up with the doctors.

I am very appreciative of all your aspirations and help, which you all have rendered in one way or another during this time. This has helped greatly in my speedy recovery.

Tashi Deleg.

News from Tenga Rinpoche (Nov. 2-4, 2011)

Nov. 2, 2011

Dear Dharma Friends,

As some of you may be aware, I have not been very well in the past weeks due to infections in my finger and my left big toe. I have been hospitalised these past few days, undergoing a number of treatments. Despite this, the infections did not clear. My doctors in Singapore recommended that having an operation would be a better option for long- term benefit.

Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche extends his stay in Singapore

Rinpoche was initially scheduled to return to Kathmandu on 19th October 2011. However, his doctors in Singapore advised Rinpoche to postpone his travel date in order to treat the infections in the finger and the left big toe. Although he is responding to medication and treatment, the healing process is a little slow due to poor blood circulation.
Nevertheless, Rinpoche is doing well, and is in the capable hands of his attending doctors.  Rinpoche is being very well looked after too, by his devoted attendants in the centre. We will update you on any changes.
