Tsheringma Puja video

From Sherab Wangchuk, June 4, 2016

XVII KarmapaThrough the precognition of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, he suggested that Benchen Monastery should arrange a three day Tsheringma puja in order to remove any obstacles that may hinder the discovery of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's Yangsi. The puja took place in Saranath at Vajra Vidya Institute and was presided over by His Holiness and led by the Principle Umze of Rumtak Monastery along with the Umze of Thrangu and Benchen Monasteries. Lamas and monks from Benchen and Thrangu Monasteries, along with nuns from Thrangu Ani Shedra, Lumbini performed this important part of the rituals necessary in order to discover Yangsi Rinpoche. The Benchen community wish to express our sincere gratitude to His Holiness for his consistent kindness and generosity in helping us in this endeavor.

About ongoing recitations

From Tempa Lama, April 12, 2016

As you may know His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa advised the Benchen Community to recite 10,000,000 Twenty-One Tara prayers and 100,000,000 Guru Rinpoche mantras in order to remove obstacles for Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's reincarnation.

The Benchen Community and some patrons have sponsored the recital of the Twenty-One Tara prayers at all the different monasteries and nunneries in Nepal; many monasteries, nunneries and shedras in India and Bhutan; and at many different places in Tibet. Until now about 6,700,000 have been already chanted. We are continually requesting prayers at various places in order to complete the remaining 3,300,000.

It would be helpful if anybody interested would participates in the ongoing recitations of the Guru Rinpoche mantra so that we jointly accumulate 100,000,000 recitations. You can report your count to the resident lamas of our centers. We will collect the numbers so that we will complete the count together.

Update  from Tempa Lama on July 14, 2015

On the morning of the 12th July Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche arrived at the Benchen Monastery in Patang, Tibet. A long time after Rinpoche's last visit, he managed to now visit the monastery again. There were many very happy devotees and it was very crowded as they were welcoming Rinpoche upon his arrival. Especially many older men and women long wished to see Rinpoche before they pass. Rinpoche will stay in the Benchen Monastery, Tibet for a while.
There are some pictures taken on the occasion.

Namaste, Tempa
