At the end of October there were celebrations regarding the graduation of the first batch of students from the Benchen shedra in Pharping. Please enjoy pictures of the first day of celebrations, taken on the 31st October. Click to enlarge pictures
Here are the pictures of the second day of the celebration of the first graduation at the Benchen Shedra.
On the third day of celebrating the graduation of the first batch of khenpos from the Benchen Shedra the graduates went on a pilgrimage to Namo Buddha, Tara site in Patan, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Stupa, and Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's main relic stupa in the main monastery.
Afterwards we prepared a nice dinner we held together in the main monastery in honor of our graduates.
