Yesterday, 19. November, was Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche's birthday. Due to the passing of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche this year Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche decided not to have a birthday celebration or cutting the cake.
Also, during the lama dance at the end of the Vajrakilaya Drubchen there will only be the dance of the wisdom deity. Due to the same circumstance there will be no clowns, china man and snow lion's dance.
Furthermore, the Benchen community in Kathmandu will not be celebrating the coming Tibetan New Year. There will only be the traditional Dharma activity at that time.
