These days, no matter where one goes, it seems to be necessary to confirm one's qualifications with a piece of paper. Otherwise one will not be accepted, no matter what one's obvious qualities. Since this seems to be the case almost everywhere in our modern world of today it was necessary to also provide our Khenpos with a certificate so that they may legitimately identify themselves as Khenpos where ever that might be required. Until now our Khenpo Tsewang Gyatso has been overlooked in this regard, a matter that was rectified on 28 April 2013 at 7:30 in the morning. Witnessed by the teaching staff and administrative personnel, as well as members of the student body, of our Benchen Nangten Thosam Ling Shedra in Pharping, the monastic university of Benchen Phuntsog Dargyeling Monastery, H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche presented our Khenpo Tsewang Gyatso with the necessary certificate and documentation and wished him well for his future teaching activities. To mark the auspiciousness of the occasion, khatags were the presented by all present.
