Offering of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's Ringsel in Benchen Phuntsok Ling

During our meanwhile traditional summer course in Benchen Phuntsok Ling, Allmuthen in Belgium, in the afternoon of Saturday, the 4th of August 2012, the most precious relics of our beloved and most revered teacher Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche were officiallly presented to his main seat in Europe.
As a representative of Benchen Phuntsog Dargye Ling in Kathmandu Tenpa Yarphel, accompanied by Sherab Wangchuk and the resident lamas of Benchen Phuntsok Ling, Lama Yönten Palsang and Lama Ngawang, brought the ringsel in a traditional procession and khora around the main building into the lhakhang.

All participants of the summer course were happy to receive these blessed relics and showed great devotion. Some had especially come to Allmuthen to be there when the relics arrived. In the lhakhang a body speech and mind mandala was offered.

Tenpa Yarphel held a very inspiring speech about Rinpoches going into parinirvana, the thugdam and the cremation. His devotion to our great teacher and his clear wish to fulfill all of Rinpoches wishes touched the hearts of those present. Following that Carina Krämer-Bleicher as the president of the Benchen Phuntsok Ling trust, Lama Yönten Palsang and Lama Ngawang Tsultrim also gave a speech. They all expressed their immense gratitude to our teacher Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche and to the Benchen Monastery and Tenga Rinpoche's close attendants for offering the relics to the centers in Europe and for having taken care for our teacher for many years.

It was announced that in the course of time a stupa will be built on the grounds of Benchen Phuntsok Ling, we will ask Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche to assign the right place.

The ceremony continued with the offering of khatags and greeting the precious relics that were displayed on Kyabje Tenga Rinpoches throne.
