We are happy to be able to announce H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche for the summer course 2004. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche will be at Benchen Phuntsok Ling for the whole duration of the summer course from July 20th until August 8th, 2004.

Ven. Tenga Rinpoche will spend this year in retreat in his monastery in Kathmandu and thus he is not travelling at all.
In late autumn 2003 Tenga Rinpoche spent several weeks with H.H. Karmapa Urgyen Thrinlay Dorje in India. Tenga Rinpoche gave teachings and bestowed empowerments to His Holiness.

”Jewel Ornament of Liberation”

There will also be a slight change of the subject Rinpoche is going to teach. Rinpoche will teach directly from the "Jewel Ornament of Liberation" and not from the abbreviated version (Düdön) as mentioned in our program earlier.
This work belongs to a series of texts which describe the gradual path (Lam rim). These texts are guides on the path which lead the student from the very basics of Buddha Dharma to the profound realisation of Buddhahood.
Gampopa was one of the heart disciples of Jetsün Milarepa and he was also the teacher of the first Karmapa Düsum Khyenpa.
