The Benchen Monastery Community is under the spiritual guidance of both His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Venerable Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche.
It provides information about the Dharma centers in the East and West which are connected to the Rinpoches. And it provides information about various social welfare projects especially targeted at poor and needy people living in the East. |

Dear Dharma Brothers and Sisters,
I am very happy to inform you that Tenga Rinpoche is recovering very well. Therefore, Rinpoche will be returning to Kathmandu tomorrow, 13th December 2011. Rinpoche will be taking a good rest upon his return to the monastery.

Nowadays there are a lot of fears of dangers caused by the four elements as well as all different kind of obstacles. To free beings from these fears and alleviate all obstacles for the ongoing year of 2011 and the coming year of 2012 Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche asks his disciples to participate in the accumulation of 100.000.000 Tara Mantras.

This is to announce the annual Spring Course for 2012 in Benchen Phuntsok Dargyeling Monastery, Kathmandu, Nepal. Due to the altered Kagyu Monlam schedule in Bodhgaya, the course will be rather early next year.
It will take place from January 30 until February 5, 2012.
Ven. Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche will continue last year's instructions based on the text "Pointing the Finger at the Dharmakaya" by the 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje.
In particular, Rinpoche will teach on the Shamatha and Vipassyana sections.
