Benchen Phuntsok Ling was founded in 1999 by the Venerable Tenga Rinpoche. It is the European main seat of H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Tenga Rinpoche.

We are looking forward to welcome you on this special day during the summer course from 2.30 PM on in Benchen Phuntsok Ling.

From December 27, 2008 until August 10, 2009 we will perform the recitation of 10,000,000 White Tara mantras for the long life of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche and for the spreading of Rinpoche's activity for the benefit of all sentient beings.

As Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche states: "You should practice White Tara for yourself and for your Guru. Some centers organize accumulations of many thousands of mantras. Every practitioner marks the number of the mantras he recited on a piece of paper. After accumulating 100 000 mantras he gives his list back to the center and the mantras are counted together. Every student of Rinpoche is invited to join this recitation. You can either recite the ten syllable root mantra or the longer White Tara mantra. 

As soon as you have accomplished 10,000 or more White Tara Mantras, please, send your number of White Tara mantras.

We will frequently update the total amount of already accumulated White Tara mantras:

Benchen Phuntsok Ling as a non-profit organization is a place in progress. So far a substancial part of the architecture planning has been given permission by the local authorities. However, the actual building activities are dependent on the available financial ressources.

To keep the place up and running we are looking for people who like to support the center by a regular monthly donation. Even a small amount like 10€, 20€ or 30€ every month will help us to maintain the place and continously improve the facilities.
